My personal vision of Special Education is not from many years of experience in teaching; I have not never thought on a school.  My own experiences have inspired me, and they still encourage me to become a teacher.  Gabriela was very quiet, unique in her way and not social at all, she is my oldest sister.  When she got to second grade, her teacher said to my parents “it is a waste of your money, and my time to have your daughter at school, she will never learn to write.”  On that same day, my dad said, “Gabriela will learn to read, and I will teach her.” A few months later Gabriela was reading.  However, her challenges and struggles at school did not end, the lack of teaching strategies, modification and not being diagnosed; Gabriela was not able to finish school. As a future Educator, I'm focusing my teaching on students with exceptionality.   Voice Thread , is a learning tool for enhancing and engage students in creating, sharing on images, Microsoft PowerPoint, video, audio, files, documents, using a microphone, webcam.
