We are lkiveing on a technology world, where technology changes every day, and there is a need for Educators to teach technology. Now a days, teachers as well as students use the internet for essays, stories, presentations and many different thinks. After, some reading and thinking, there are some goals that it would be essential to include in a classroom when they are using the internet to find information.
The first goal, will be to make sure the internet is a safe resource for the students. Each student should be aware of some of the safety steps when they are navigating the web. Like, thinking before posting something, protect their privacy and information, follow the acceptable school rules, not allowing cyberbullying, and give proper credit when using other peoples work, communicate respectfully, use digital tools to talk with people, not about them, and remember that anything posted online is permanent.
For the second goal, I will high light a kid-friendly search engine like Kiddel. It allows the educator to have site blocking, is a kid's safe search and very easy to use the importance for a save engiene is because I will be working from Kindergarten to Eighth grade.
I have come across with an excellent website for parents and Educators that has great ideas for technology, http://www.kathleenamorris.com. I like how Kathleena points out the anatomy of Google search result, and this will become the third goal; if students know what the components their web research will be much more comfortable, not forgetting to give students the steps to stay organized on the search they may be working.

The picture of the anatomy of the Google search was taking from Kathleen Morris.
Finally, the last goal will be to give to the students the research tips were they can gain skills to come under the term of information literacy, which falls under the umbrella of digital literacy.
